This record has such a magical flow to it, it seems to capture so directly the ups and downs of life, the joy of music and dance, and it's just so damn catchy and fun to listen to as well. Giles

Brilliant ensemble interplay, tight composition, fierce and committed soloing...a rare outing from Malik as a leader (and I really like Glenn Spearman on this recording...he is on fire!)...this album is a diamond in the dust and it is intense.
This is free jazz in the correct (to my way of thinking) sense...meaning unfettered and with unrestrained joy.
Put your ears and mind in the same frame for maximum reward.
